This allows you to begin your honing process at a coarser grit and progressively step your way up to a finer grit for that perfect edge.
- Included along with the glass plate is the super handy aluminum honing guide. The guide can hold blades, chisels or plane irons up to 3 1/16” in width and approximately 1/8” thick. The aluminum honing guide features an easy to adjust knob for tool width and an extra wide roller to make rolling the guide across the glass plate super smooth.
